At Overmind, we apply design thinking to every single project regardless of the project category, scale or sector. Every design project is a challenge for us, a puzzle to solve. We take our time to question, search, observe and understand. We define the problems, some that neither our clients nor users are aware of, and we create insights, followed by questions 'How can we improve it?', 'What can we change?', ''How can we create value?'. Gozde Elbeyli Karslioglu
Product, CMF and Interaction Designer
Overmind Design Studio is a London based design studio founded and lead by multidisciplinary designer Gozde Elbeyli Karslioglu. Gozde earned her bachelor degree in Industrial Product Design from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. After her graduation, she earned a scholarship from Domus Academy for Master's Degree in Interaction Design. Following her education in Italy, she returned to Istanbul, Turkey and started practicing product design at DesignUM, which is widely recognized as the best design studio in Turkey. During the period she worked at DesignUM, Istanbul, she was involved in numerous projects from different sectors and developed versatile skills in many fields of product design including design thinking, visual design, CMF design and mechanical part design. Taking years of hands-on experience with her, she founded her own design studio in London, in 2018.
Ozan Karslioglu
Product Designer and Project Manager
Ozan Karslioglu earned his bachelor degree in Industrial Product Design from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. In his third year in University, he started working as a junior designer in Designnobis, one of the most renowned and awarded design studios in Turkey. After 3 years of solid experience in Designnobis, he gave a break to his career to get an MBA degree. With the business perspective that he gained, he had started to work as an Assistant Product Manager in Arzum, Turkey's one of the biggest small domestic appliances company. Throughout this period, he got specialized in product life cycle management, design management, market research, brand identity development. All of which gave him a business perspective addition to a designer's eye.
